Database Import Tool

With a totally not generic name, our “Database Import Tool” allows us to search for file directly in Naughty Dog’s database and, if found, imports them directly into the currently open Reaper session - placing them on the selected track at the edit cursor’s position. If a file isn’t found, however, or if the user intentionally searches with an incomplete file name or scene name, the tool will collect information on a number of files that match the searched term and displays the information in a grid like view. This information consists of a scene name and the characters that have files in that scene, allowing you to import multiple scenes at once as well as the ability to choose what characters you want to import for each scene. And even though this tool was mainly meant to be used for files in our main language, which is English, it also supports bringing in files from other languages as well, giving the user the flexibility to choose if they want to pull in the raw file or mastered file for every language we have audio for.
